yes ,yes one you might have the brake shoes adjusted out too far adjust them down all the way, with the adjuster at the bootom of the brake assembly, adjust it so the brake shoes are in all the way and then slowly adjust the shoes out checking the fit of the drum over the shoes allitle at a time

there is an inspection hollow interior the back of the backing plate in the back of the drum on the on the bottom of the backing plate... there'll be a plastic or rubber plug protecting this inspection hollow.... once uncovered via this hollow you should manage to ensure an adjuster wheel that appears like the spur on a cowboys heel... it has very superb teeth... now insert a blade screw motive force to allow you to rotate this adjuster in a backwards rotation keep doing so until eventually the drum loosens up sufficient to cone off surely... if it hasn't achieved so interior of about 4 finished turns of the adjuster you're possibly going the incorrect way... doing this may shorten the adjuster which makes the shoes come closer at the same time and could enable the drum to come back off... your brake drum has severe positioned on and needs both became or replaced... Either you have the wrong brake shoes or get the drums turned. The drums may have a ridge on them causing them to not to be able to go on.

Your brake adjusters are to open screw them in to make the drums fit even if they fit loose it will be ok. after you get it together back up the car slowly pumping the brake pedal. this will automaticly adjust your brakes.

Go to Auto Zone.com they will have information on the complete procedure and adjustments. If you need your car like right now, try a coarse grid sand paper and sand them down to size, a little from each side. Try your adjustments first.

Good Luck
